Pebble lime or Quick lime is burnt crushed limestone (in our processing facilities, using high technology ROTARY KILN), with chemical composition as follow:

CaO = Min 90%
MgO = Max 2%
SiO2 = Max 3%
CaCO3 = Max 3%

This chemical composition listed above is our conservative measurement. With our raw materials and high technology equipments, we can produce much more high quality products.

Some people confused Hydrated lime with Slack Lime, however Hydrated Lime (CaO(OH)2) is not slacked lime, similar to pebble lime chemical composition, with slightly different chemical composition. Stated below is the chemical composition of our hydrated lime:

Ca(OH)2 = Min 90%
MgO = Max 3%
SiO2 = Max 3%
CaCO3 = Max 3%
H2O = Max 2%

This chemical composition listed above is our conservative measurement. Similar to pebble lime or quick lime, our raw materials and equipments have the abilities to produce much higher quality products.

The size of pebble lime is depend on the buyers, with the minimum size of 15 mm. We are equipped to produce both pebble lime and hydrated lime according to the buyers’ specification requirement.

To clarify the chemical composition, which confused most people, described below is our specifications of both pebble lime and hydrated lime. The following below are moderately detailed specification (Conservative measurement).

We are currently have a contract with PT. Newmont Nusatenggara to supply both pebble lime and hydrated lime. Since our processing facilities are still under construction (90% completion), we are planning to start operating by the end of January 2004.

Our lime-stone quarry is equipped with new heavy duty equipments, experience and competent personals. Further, our processing facilities are equipped with ROTARY KILN CALCINATION PLANT controlled by computerized system. Moreover, our ROTARY KILN uses gas from coal burning system to ensure high quality product. To ensure the quality of products being produced, we have built 2 concrete silos and quality assurance department to control and to test products.
